Fly BVI, Island Birds and VI Airlink are smaller private airlines that operate between BUI, USVI, PR and Antigua. Cape Air. Seaborne, Air Sunshine and Inter Caribbean are commercial airline options.
Canadian and US passport holders with 10-year passports valid for at least 6 months past the return date do not require a visa to the British Virgin Islands for tourism purposes.
An environmental tourism levy of $10 per person applies to all guest visiting the BVI. The levy is collected upon arrival at the port of entry for visitors arriving by sea or air. There is a $20 departure tax per person that must be paid at the airport when you leave the BVI. The fee is Charged before you clear security and after you have checked in for your flight. If you're flying out on private aircraft your charter company must automatically take care of this for you.
The British Virgin Islands are malaria free and no inoculations are required.

Mosquitoes are present at the island; therefore we provide plenty of insect repellent and bite relied creams or sprays. However, if you prefer a specific or dermatologicaly formulated brand, you may want to bring your own.
Necker Island staff members are fully trained in first aid and basic medical equipment is avalable on the island. The nearest doctor and hospital are 60 minutes away. Emergency evacuation is possible by helicopter subject to weather condictions, medical charges will apply. Travel insurance is recommended fot the medical coverage.
Before your arrival, please let us know if you or anyone in your party has a pre-existing medical condition, allergy or any particular requerements we should know about, including pregnancy, so we can properly respond to your emergency.

Located in the Caribbean, the British Virgin Islands’ wather is hot and fairly humid year round. We recommend you dress accordingly.
When packing please make sure you label your bags before you leave home with your name and “Necker Island” on them. This will help us ensure a smooth transition from the plane to your room and ensure the most comfortable experience for you.
